How do I search for compensation data?
Enter a job title in the search bar (e.g., "Executive Director" or "CFO"). You can filter by state, organization size, and more to find comparable positions.
What data is included?
We include executive compensation from IRS Form 990 filings — base salary, bonus, other compensation, benefits, and deferred compensation. Data covers 700,000+ nonprofits.
How current is the data?
We update monthly as the IRS releases new filings. Due to IRS processing times, there is typically an 18-month lag between when an organization files and when data becomes available.
Data & Methodology
Where does the data come from?
All data comes directly from IRS Form 990 filings, which nonprofits are legally required to file and make public. We process Schedule J and Part VII to extract compensation details.
Why is a position missing?
Only positions required to be reported on Form 990 are included: officers, directors, trustees, key employees, and the five highest-compensated employees earning over $100,000.
How do you handle different job titles?
Our system normalizes thousands of title variations. Searching "Development Director" also finds "Director of Development," "Chief Development Officer," and similar roles.

What can I do for free?
Free accounts can search and preview a limited number of results. Pro accounts unlock full compensation details, aggregate statistics (percentiles, medians), and advanced filters.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Click "Upgrade" in the navigation or visit the Pricing page. You can pay monthly or annually (annual saves 20%).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your Account page anytime. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Account & Privacy
How do I sign in?
We use passwordless authentication. Enter your email, click the magic link we send, and you are signed in. No password to remember.
How do I delete my account or request my data?
You can delete your account from the Account page. This permanently removes all your data. For data requests, see our Privacy Policy.
Is my data private?
Yes. We do not sell or share your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
