TO CREATE AN ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL THAT CELEBRATES THE ART, HISTORY, AND HERITAGE OF THE TOWN OF ABITA SPRINGS AND GREATER SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. WITH AN EMPHASIS PLACED ON SHOWCASING LOCAL CAJUN, SOUTHERn BLUES, AND JAZZ ARTISTS, THE FESTIVAL AIMS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE DIVERSE MUSICAL HERITAGE OF LOUISIANA THAT HAS INFLUENCED ARTISTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND IS STILL VIBRANTLY FLOURISHING TODAY. ADDITIONALLY, EMPHASIS WILL BE PLACED ON PROVIDING A SPACE FOR LOCAL CULINARY AND VISUAL ARTISTS TO PRESENT THEIR WORK TO THE PUBLIC.
