THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS LOCAL UNION SHALL BE TO CARRY OUT ON A LOCAL BASIS, THE OBJECTIVES OF AFSCME AND TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERS' INTERESTS IN A FAIR AND SAFE WORKPLACE, APPROPRIATE AND FAIR WAGES, ADEQUATE HEALTH BENEFITS, AND SECURE PENSIONS.
