THE AMERICAN LEGION IS AN ORGANIZATION OF PEOPLE WHO SERVED IN THE MILITARY. THEY PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY, ASSIST DISABLED AND NEEDY WAR VETERANS, SPONSOR AND PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES OF A PATRIOTIC NATURE AND PROVIDE SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THEIR MEMBERS.
