THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE AND REPRESENT INTERESTS OF INDUSTRIAL GAS CONSUMERS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY POOLING JOINT RESOURCES IN ORDER TO HAVE EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION BEFORE VARIOUS STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATORY AGENCIES IN ORDER THAT THEIR INTERESTS MAY BE PROPERLY REPRESENTED.
