THE MUSEUM SHALL THROUGH DISCOVERY, PRESERVATION, EDUCATION AND STEWARDSHIP BE AN INSTITUTION DEDICATED TO SERVING THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES IN THE ART, HISTORY, AND SCIENCE OF NORTHEAST MICHIGAN. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MAINTAINS THE ONLY WORKING PLANETARIUM IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN.
