TO COORDINATE THE TALENTS OF AREA VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF, TO MARSHAL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE RESOURCES FOR SUPPORT, AND TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES, PROGRAMS AND A SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENT WITH WHICH TO ENABLE PARTICIPANTS OF ALL AGES TO BECOME ENGAGED IN NATURE AND IN THE EXPERIENCE OF SCIENCE WHILE HAVING FUN IN THE PROCESS.
