Mission
The Britt Foundation is a nonprofit organization that uses high-adventure outdoor activities to cultivate leadership skills and confidence in young people, specifically targeting college students, with the goal of empowering them to create positive change in the world. Through overcoming fears and accomplishing seemingly impossible outdoor challenges, participants build self-assurance and are encouraged to pay it forward by mentoring others. The Britt Foundation strives to unlock the leadership potential in young people by pushing them outside their comfort zones, providing mentors who believe in them, and fostering a culture where they can grow through adversity. By developing these future leaders, the organization aims to equip young people to make a difference in the lives of others.
