THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF THIS CORPORATION ARE TO BENEFIT AND PROMOTE THE BUILDING INDUSTRY AND ITS WORKERS AND CUSTOMERS AND TO (1)PROMOTE AND SUPPORT SOUND PRINCIPLES IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY, (2)BRING, DEFENSE AGAINST OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATE IN LEGAL ACTIONS IMPACTING ON THE BUILDING INDUSTRY, (3)PREPARE ANALYSES OF LEGISLATION AND BALLOT MEASURES WHICH MIGHT AFFECT THE BUILDING INDUSTRY AND MAKE SUCH ANALYSES AVAILABLE AT NO COST TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING OTHER BUILDING ASSOCIATIONS.
