THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO COLLECT, PRESERVE, AND EXHIBIT BOOKS AUTHORED BY AFRICAN AMERICAN AND/OR THOSE OF AFRICAN HERITAGE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS EFUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, UTILIZING THE CONTENT OF THE COLLECTIONS AND THE VOICES OF THEIR EXPERIENCE.
