THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986. THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT OF POSTGRADUATE ROWING PROGRAMS WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE UNITED STATES IN WORLD CLASS AND OLYMPIC ROWING COMPETITIONS.
