CASITAS FUND, INC. IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ACT FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF THE UNITED STATES ROWING ASSOCIATION. SEE SCHEDULE O.SHORTLY AFTER THE 1984 OLYMPIC GAMES, THE LOS ANGELES OLYMPIC ORGANIZING COMMITTEE GAVE THE UNITED STATES OLYMPIC & PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE 20% OF ITS NET LIQUID ASSETS TO DIVIDE EVENLY AMONG THE UNITED STATES NATIONAL GOVERNING BODIES. THE FUND, CREATED IN 1985 AS A RESULT OF THIS EVENT, RECEIVED A SUBSTANTIAL CONTRIBUTION, APPROXIMATELY $980,000 FROM THE USOPC.
