Mission

Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) is an educational organization working to ensure that school greenhouse gas emissions are significantly reduced over the coming years. CAPS is funded by the belief that, through high-quality educational programs and action plans, educators and students alike can have a meaningful impact on both human health and the environment. CAPS' mission is to partner with schools to provide inspiring climate education programs and implement local projects that reduce GHG emissions. CAPS develops climate education project-based learning programs to prepare students for highly skilled career pathways and inspires them to develop site-based projects that mitigate climate change. CAPS strives to make these significant climate action programs and projects available to primarily under-resourced schools.
