Community Connection Place envisions University Place as a community filled with thriving children, active families and engaged seniors who invest in one another for common future. We also envision a new multi-generational community center that provides all residents with opportunities for education, recreation and social connections. We gather and use resources to provide services, programs and events that recognizes, develops and utilizes the full potential residing in each person. We fulfill our vision and mission and meet the needs of our community by specifically engaging members of the community who have become isolated by social and economic barriers. We see those who feel invisible and welcome them to become active, valued members of the community all while helping our community leaders to become aware and responsive to the needs of our broad and diverse base of residents.
