Mission
COMMUNITY SKATING, INC. WAS FOUNDED TO OPERATE THE WINTER LODGE, A POPULAR MID-PENINSULA RECREATION FACILITY AND THE ONLY PERMANENT OUTDOOR ICE SKATING RINK WEST OF THE SIERRAS WHICH WAS ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AS A RESULT OF A 1985 VOTER APPROVED MANDATE. THOUSANDS OF PRE-SCHOOLERS THROUGH SENIORS FROM SAN JOSE TO REDWOOD CITY AND THOSE WHO ENROLL IN A WIDE RANGE OF CLASSES FROM BEGINNING TO ADVANCED ARE SERVED BY THE WINTER LODGE.
