Mission
THE NATURE CENTER MAINTAINS A FACILITY, MUSEUM AND WILDLIFE PRESERVE IN MYSTIC, CONNECTICUT DEDICATED TO PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND AWARENESS. THE CENTER MANAGES OVER TWO HUNDRED ACRES AS A NATURE SANCTUARY WHICH IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR A MINIMAL FEE AND VARIOUS PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED TO SCHOOL CHILDREN, ADULTS AND FAMILIES IN ORDER TO INSPIRE AND NURTURE APPRECIATION OF THE NATURAL WORLD AND FOSTER PERSONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS.
