TO ENHANCE LIBRARY SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES. LIBRARIES IN DESCHUTES COUNTY ARE FAR BELOW THE STANDARD FOR SPACE AND COLLECTIONS. PRIVATE FUNDING, CONTRIBUTIONS AND ENDOWMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO MEET RESIDENTS' DEMANDS AND NEEDS OF LIBRARY SERVICES.
