THE GOAL OF THE DETROIT PERFORMING ARTISTS IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICIAN, PERFORMANCE AND INCOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNGER PEOPLE AND ADULTS TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE PERFORMANCE OF CLASSICAL MASTER WORKS AND TO FOSTER THE CREATION OF NEW WORKS.
