DAWP PROGRAMS TEACH ALL ASPECTS OF BEING A PERFORMING ARTIST WHILE FACILITATING PROPER TECHNICAL TRAINING IN COMPREHENSIVE DANCE, ACTING AND VOICE; LEARNING IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS NEEDED FOR SUCCESS; PRACTICING TO BE MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY STABLE; AND DEVELOPING SELF-ESTEEM AND BUILDING CONFIDENCE. LEARNING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE PERFORMING ARTS AS A YOUNG PERSON OPENS DOORS TO EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES, CONTRIBUTES TO LONGEVITY AND ULTIMATELY IMPROVES ONE'S QUALITY OF LIFE.
