EAST RAMAPO TEACHERS ASSOCIATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL, ECONOMIC, AND SOCIAL INTEREST OF THE MEMBERS, TO PROMOTE AND IMPROVE THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT, TO PROMOTE CLOSER RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN TEACHERS AND THE COMMUNITY AND TO ENCOURAGE COOPERATION WITH OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS.
