THE PURPOSE AND FUNCTION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ADMINISTER PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES, VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES IN THE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA AREA THAT SHALL ENHANCE THEIR ABILITY TO BECOME ECONOMICALLY AND SOCIALLY SELF-SUFFICIENT.
