Mission
The promotion of excellence in sociological scholarship and instruction. The Society publishes a professional Journal - Sociological Forum - that convenes an annual 4 day General Meeting, Sponsors numerous award competitions, an employment forum and maintains an extensive mailing list of 5,000 names.
