The Environmental Science Center promotes environmental stewardship and academic achievement through science-based education. We help people feel a deeper connection and a motivation to want to protect the environment by using nature as our teacher at local beaches, streams, school gardens, and forests in south King County of Washington. Our programs increase scientific literacy, provide an opportunity for more diversity in STEM career fields, and increase healthy every-day choices that affect the Salish Sea community.
