THEY ARE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAVEL AND TOURISM PRODUCT AWARENESS TO VISITORS. THE SOLE FUNDING SOURCE OF THIS EFFORT IS SUPPORTED BY THE HOTEL/MOTEL TAX REVENUE OF THE COMMUNITY. THIS TAKES PLACE YEAR-ROUND THROUGH A VARIETY OF WAYS INCLUDING MARKETING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, CONFERENCES, ASSOCIATION INVOLVEMENT, DIRECT SALES, TRADE SHOWS, COLLATERAL DISTRIBUTION, EVENT PLANNING ETC.
