THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCES A SERIES OF GUIDELINES TO AID IN PLANNING, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW AND RENOVATED HEALTH CARE FACILITIES INCLUDING HOSPITALS, OUTPATIENT FACILITIES, RESIDENTIAL HEALTH CARE AND SUPPORT FACILITIES. THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES THE FGI GUIDELINES FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION REVISION PROCESS AND PUBLICATION, FUND RESEARCH, AND OFFER RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF SAFE, EFFECTIVE HEALTH AND RESIDENTIAL CARE BUILT ENVIRONMENTS.
