The Commission promotes fitness and an active, healthy lifestyle and personal development through sports. It acts as the one-stop resource for the sports communities in the county. The main focus is creating and supporting programs for fitness awareness education, focused primarily on the 110,000 school age youngsters in the 16 communities served.
