THE PURPOSE OF THE SOCIETY IS TO PROCURE, EXHIBIT, PRESERVE AND PERPETUATE DOCUMENTS, RECORDS, DATA AND OTHER EVIDENCE RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF FALL RIVER AND ITS VICINITY AND THE MULTICULTURAL PEOPLE THEREOF, AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING THROUGH EDUCATION.
