The mission of the Conservancy is to facilitate the acquisition and introduction to North America of threatened and vulnerable ornamental plants of known wild provenance and from cultivated sources. The organization is operated exclusively for charitable purposes for the advancement of education and science, to promote and support conservation, research, acquisition, evaluation, study, cultivation, public display, and distribution of vulnerable or uncommon plants of botanical and horticultural importance to protect ecological diversity and inspire stewardship of the environment.
