The mission is to operate the FireStarter FabLab which includes woodworking, metal working, digital design, and manufacturing for educational and resource purposes. The FabLab has been recognized as a community tool to help in recruitment and retention of STEM professionals, help in the organic growth of STEM professionals out of the K-12 school system, and help with the organic growth of micro innovative businesses. The FabLab has had over 1000 individuals attend classes. We also work with the local robotics team and hold open house events that K-12 students and parents attend.
