For the mutual benefit of all members, the Association's mission is to: a) protect and advance the interests of those engaged in the business of marine, foundation and underground construction; b) encourage, promote and enhance marine, foundation and underground construction and to improve the conditions under which the industry operates; c) foster ethical business practices; d) perfect machinery for the peaceful settlement of disputes between members, or between them and their employees or customers; e) study ways and means to protect the industry against unfair and unjust burdens and exactions; f) collect and disseminate scientific and industrial data to the industry; g) promote a better understanding and more friendly relations between members of the industry; h) promote good understanding and mutually beneficial relations between the members and their employees;
