IN ADDITION TO THE LOAN, HUD PROVIDES RENTAL SUPPLEMENTS FOR THE RESIDENTS AND REQUIRES THE RESIDENTS TO PAY A RENTAL AMOUNT. THE RESIDENT'S RENT APPROXIMATES 30% OF THE RESIDENT'S ADJUSTED INCOME OR IS A FLAT RENTAL FEE DETERMINED BY HUD.
