To stimulate, foster and promote intercollegiate student athletics as an integral part of the total education and academic programs offered by the member institutions, thereby enhancing individual and social development as well as academic enrichment of the student bodies of the member institutions.To legislate, through By-Laws, regulations, constitutions and resolutions, on all areas of concern to the members in the conduct of intercollegiate athletics under Conference rules and policies.To establish Conference championships via playoffs in team sports, and meets andtournaments in individual sports; and to conduct those events under NCAA Rules, andsuch other rules, regulations and resolutions as the Conference may designate.To enable members to fill their scheduling needs through the creation of conferences, and to legislate the requirements for competition in those conferences, including eligibility of member institutions for those conference championships.To work together with the N
