TO ENHANCE AFFORDABLE CARE TO PEOPLE WITH HEMOPHILIA AND OTHER BLEEDING DISORDERS IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA BY HELPING TO ENSURE AN AVAILABLE SUPPLY OF BLOOD-CLOTTING CONCENTRATES AND OTHER MEDICATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF HEMOPHILIA AND OTHER BLOOD CLOTTING DISORDERS THROUGH THE PURCHASING AND DISPENSING, ON A COOPERATIVE, CENTRALIZED BASIS, OF SUCH MEDICATIONS TO ITS PATRON HOSPITALS, AND PROVIDING OTHER SERVICES PERMITTED TO BE PROVIDED BY CORPORATIONS EXEMPT FROM TAXATION UNDER SECTIONS 501(E) AND 501(C)(3) OF THE CODE.
