THE ASSOCIATION ENABLES THE HIGH POINT GYMNASTICS ACADEMY (HPGA) COMPETITIVE TEAM TO HOST AN INVITATIONAL MEET FOR YOUTH ACROSS THE STATE OF NC TO COMPETE. THE ASSOCIATION HELPS DEFRAY THE COST OF TRAINING FOR THE GYMNASTS AND THEIR COACHES. TRAINING INCLUDES GYMNASTIC TECHNIQUES AND SAFETY SKILLS NECESSARY FOR HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION. THE ASSOCIATION'S SUPPORT ALLOWS COMPULSORY AND OPTIONAL LEVEL GYNMASTS TO COMPETE IN LOCAL, REGIONAL, STATE AND NATIONAL EVENTS.
