THE SOCIETY'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THOSE DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE DENTAL PROFESSION THROUGH THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE ANNUAL DENTAL MEETING AND PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS.
