THE PURPOSES OF THE NONPROFIT CORPORATION SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO RECRUIT NEW JOBS AND SEEK TO RETAIN AND ENHANCE EXISTING JOBS IN INDEPENDENCE COUNTY; TO DEVELOP AND MANAGE AN ADEQUATELY FUNDED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN.
