To associate and provide continuing education through networking, symposia and periodic educational conferences, to persons whose professional focus is in the field of the treatment of late stage heart disease through the use of mechanical circulatory assist devices (ventricular assist devices and artificial hearts), and to achieve optimal outcomes for patients requiring this treatment.
