THE PRIMARY PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE TO (1) PRESERVE IRANIAN JEWISH CULTURE AND HERITAGE; (2) REACH OUT TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF IRANIAN JEWS LIVING IN THE UNITED STATES; (3) ADDRESS THE CHANGING CULTURAL NEEDS OF THE IRANIAN JEWISH COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; (4) BRIDGE THE AMERICAN AND IRANIAN JEWISH COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF IRANIAN JEWISH VALUES, HISTORY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS; (5) BRING INTO FOCUS THE VALUES OF THE IRANIAN JEWISH CULTURE, INCLUDING FAMILY, EDUCATION, CHARITY, ARTS AND MUSIC; AND (6) OPERATE AS A NON-RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO AIMS TO MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF CODE SECTION 170(C)(2)(B), WHICH HAVE RECEIVED AN IRS DETERMINATION OF THEIR EXEMPTION FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAXATION PURSUANT TO CODE SECTION 501(C)(3).
