TO FURTHER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE AND ONSLOW COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA AND TO PROMOTE JOB CREATION OPPORTUNITIES AND GROWTH IN THE TAX BASE. THE ORGANIZATION WILL WORK WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AREA, AS WELL AS OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY TO THE AREA.
