CHARTERED BY THE STATE OF KANSAS AS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ON AUGUST 11, 1936, THE KANSAS MOTOR CARRIERS ASSOCIATION THROUGH THE INTERVENING YEARS CONSISTENTLY HAS PROVIDED THE PROGRESSIVE, ORGANIZED LEADERSHIP THAT HAS HELPED THE HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY IMPROVE ITS SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC AND TO ACHIEVE ITS PRESENT STATURE.WITH ITS MEMBERSHIP OF MORE THAN 1,200 COMPANIES - CONSISTING OF REPRESENTATIVES OF ALL TYPES OF MOTOR CARRIER OPERATIONS AND ALLIED ENTERPRISES - KMCA IS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH AUTHORITY AS THE VOICE OF THE HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY.
