THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE LOCAL IS TO PROMOTE BETTER WAGES, BENEFITS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR ALL WORKERS WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION. THE LOCAL ALSO PROTECTS THE WORKERS RIGHTS BY REPRESENTING THEM IN DAY-TO-DAY PROBLEMS ON THE JOB.
