THE PURPOSE FUND'S MISSION, DUTY AND PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE AID AND RELIEF IN CASE OF A DISASTER OR EMERGENCY HARDSHIP TO THE EMPLOYEES OF LHC GROUP AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS. THE PURPOSE FUND WAS DESIGNED TO BE AN EMPLOYER-SPONSORED PUBLIC CHARITY.
