To identify, preserve and promote the natural, agricultural, scenic, recreational, historic, and cultural resources of Litchfield County, Connecticut and to work to conserve them for current and future generations by preserving and managing open space and habitat areas, promoting their scientific and educational value, creating financially sustainable stewardship models, and ensuring public access.
