THE LITERACY FOR LIFE ORGANIZATION TRANSFORMS THE COMMUNITY, EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS BY REMOVING BARRIERS TO SUCCESS AND STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH THE POWER OF LITERACY. 1. REACH OUT TO ALL ADULTS NEEDING READING, WRITING, SPEAKING, LISTENING, AND COMPUTING SKILLS. 2. RECRUIT AND TRAIN VOLUNTEER TUTORS TO DELIVER FREE QUALITY INSTRUCTION TO MEET THE LITERACY NEEDS OF ADULT LEARNERS. 3. ENLISTING THE SUPPORT OF THE COUNTY'S COMMUNITY.
