THE PURPOSE OF THE LOUISIANA CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY CENTER, INC. IS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN OF HAMMOND, LOUISIANA, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE CREATION, FUNDING, AND OPERATION OF A CHILDREN'S MUSEUM, RECEIPT AND DISBURSEMENT OF GRANTS, REVENUES AND DONATIONS, AND CREATION OF COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS IN RELATION TO THE MUSEUM.
