THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE PROFESSION OF FIRE SERVICE, TO IMPROVE THE METHODS OF FIRE PREVENTION, TRAINING, PROTECTION, AND EXTINGUISHMENT; AND TO MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AMONG THE FIRE SERVICE OFFICERS OF LOUISIANA.
