THE ASSOCIATION'S PURPOSE IS TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE AND PROMOTE SAFETY IN THE DELIVERY OF NATURAL GAS AND TO BROADEN PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE NATURAL GAS INDUSTRY'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIETY IN GENERAL AND THE POSITIVE EFFECTS OF NATURAL GAS USE ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
