THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO AWARD FELLOWSHIPS PRIMARILY TO COLLEGE LEVEL EDUCATORS, TO ENABLE THEM TO STUDY ABROAD IN UNFAMILIAR ENVIRONMENTS, IN ORDER TO STIMULATE AND BROADEN THE MINDS OF TEACHERS SO AS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF THEIR INSTRUCTION.
