THE MAUI POLICE FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION GOVERNED BY AN ALL VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS COMPRISED OF BUSINESS AND PHILANTHROPIC LEADERS. THE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY AND TO DEVELOP STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY AND THE MAUI POLICE DEPARTMENT. THROUGH ITS FUNDRAISING EFFORTS, ITS MISSION IS TO SUPPLEMENT NEEDED PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS THAT ARE NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO COUNTY OF MAUI BUDGET SHORTFALLS FOR OFFICER EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING, AS WELL AS YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
