The Bandmasters mission is to promote and support the musical education of students in elementary schools middle schools and high schools in Mississippi through providing support to band directors organizing marching and concert competitions and sponsoring an annual statewide band clinic featuring guest clinicians to conduct and instruct high school and middle school band students. The goal of these activities is to support band students by offering opportunities to improve their musical skills learn teamwork and be part of a group of students with similar interests and build lifelong friendships.
